Andrew + Julie sure know how to throw a wedding! From the 50+ guests, to the amazing Tim Burton inspired details, to the party rockin’ limo, the heartfelt toasts by the BM and MOH my team and I enjoyed this wedding from start to finish. I shot their engagement session in Palos Verdes back in July and when they were telling me the details of their planning I had a feeling it was going to be so unique. Although, seeing it the day of was even more than I could of imagined.
The day started with Randy and I meeting the bride and her bridesmaids at one of their houses in Canyon Country. Randy and I spent the morning with the girls and Hugo was off with Andrew at his cousins place. The house was beautiful and made for excellent photo backdrops. Just like any bride, Julie was nervous, until she got a hug from 2 of her bridesmaids and a call from the groom that his pants were missing. (If the wedding goes too perfect it’s not always a good thing. Having a few things happen out of order make for great stories.)
Julies dress was shipped from England, and WOW what a dress! A beautiful white limo awaited the bride, bridesmaids and us…ya us! How awesome is that!
Arriving at the mansion, the bride and grooms nerves grew and while we set things up we went right into the first look as they were eager to see each other. Followed by a beautiful sun setting ceremony in the mansion gardens, and a limo ride back to the reception, the wedding was fun filled and glamorous, which was perfect for the happy couple.
Thank you both for choosing us to photograph your biggest day and we hope you enjoyed Las Vegas!
